The Haida Gwaii Child Care Resource and Referral (CCRR) program provides support, resources and referral services for childcare providers, parents and caregivers in all communities on Haida Gwaii with the mandate of promoting quality child care choices that meet the needs of local families.
The successful candidate will be organized, reliable, personable, efficient, and comfortable working independently.
Job Description
The CCRR Masset Lending Library Assistant will:
Be responsible for opening the Masset CCRR Lending Library 2 days/week, for 10 hours per week. The Lending Library Assistant is responsible for advertising the Masset Lending Library's hours on the CCRR Facebook page and providing support to clients who visit the Lending Library.
The lending library assistant is responsible for attending and providing support to early years programs in Masset and Old Masset, such as Strong Start and Tawlang Ga Tlaayds, for a maximum of 5 hours per week.
On occasion, coordinating & attending early years events on the North end of Haida Gwaii with flexibility to be available one evening per month.
Run a weekly summer playgroup.
Coordinate with the CCRR Program Coordinator for any support needed.
