Community Garden

Our Community Garden was started by Settlement Services. Using the supplies and seeds donated from multiple local businesses, the SPARK (formerly BladeRunners) Youth and newcomers from Settlement Services collaborated to build the garden.

The Community Garden was built with intention to empower immigrants to grow their own food at home by sharing some of the donated seeds and utilizing the garden to build valuable connections through volunteer work with other newcomers and community members, and lastly by bringing people together to share a meal using the harvest from the garden.
