Job Details

Work Location: On site

Salary: $24.00–$25.85 per hour, to be negotiated

Hours: 40 hours per week

Employment Type: Permanent, full-time

Start Date: As soon as possible

Vacancies: 2

Schedule: Early morning, morning, day, evening, night, shift, weekend, on-call and other

shifts as required. Schedule to be determined based on operational needs.

Education & Experience

 Secondary school graduation certificate

 1 year to less than 2 years of retail experience

 Previous supervisory or leadership experience is an asset

Key Responsibilities

 Supervise and support staff and coordinate daily store activities

 Assign sales workers to duties and establish work schedules

 Hire, train and mentor employees

 Sell merchandise and provide excellent customer service

 Resolve customer requests, complaints and operational issues

 Order merchandise and organize and maintain inventory

 Authorize merchandise returns and payments as required

 Monitor sales and prepare reports on sales, merchandising and personnel matters

 Oversee payroll administration

 Conduct employee performance reviews

 Respond to supply shortages and other challenges

 Supervise and coordinate workers in various areas of responsibility

 Maintain a well-organized, efficient and customer-friendly store

 Lead by example and contribute to a positive team environment
