Plumber

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of plumbing systems and be capable of performing a variety of tasks related to installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a hands-on approach, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. The plumber will be responsible for ensuring that all plumbing systems are functioning efficiently and safely, including installation of heat pumps. In addition to the tasks below, the plumber will be stationed several hours per week at the main work location to schedule jobs, order parts, assign billing codes for invoicing.

•          Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, in residential and commercial settings.

•          Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures for water, gas, drainage, and heating systems.

•          Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various plumbing tasks.

•          Perform welding tasks as required for pipe connections or repairs.

•          Collaborate with HVAC technicians when necessary to ensure comprehensive system functionality.

•          Adhere to all safety regulations while performing heavy lifting and other physically demanding tasks

•          Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems.

•          Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or potential problems.

•          Perform welding tasks as required for pipe connections or repairs.

Spend several hours per week at the main work location to:

o  Schedule jobs

o  Order parts and supplies

o  Assign billing codes for invoicing

Experience required:

Proven experience as a Plumber in a similar role is preferred.  Red Seal preferred.

Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and best practices.

Familiarity with commercial driving requirements is a plus for transporting materials or equipment. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately is essential.

Experience in using power tools safely and effectively is required.

Heavy lifting capabilities are necessary for handling materials and equipment on-site.
