Civil Labourer – Progressive Ventures Construction Ltd.

Location: Terrace, BC

Job Type: Full-Time -Season dependent

Wage: $25-35/hr

We are looking for a hardworking, reliable, and safety-conscious Civil Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will assist with a variety of civil construction projects, including roadwork, underground utilities, site preparation, excavation, and general construction activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general labour duties on civil construction sites.
• Assist with excavation, backfilling, grading, and site preparation.
• Install and assist with underground utilities, drainage systems, and culverts.
• Handle materials, tools, and construction equipment safely.
• Assist equipment operators and other crew members as required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and instructions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or foreman.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous civil construction or general labour experience is an asset.
• Physically fit and capable of performing demanding outdoor work.
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's licence is an asset.
• First Aid, Ground Disturbance, and other relevant safety certifications are considered assets.
• Must be willing to work in varying weather conditions and overtime when required.
