Tire, Brake and Alignment Technician - Kal Tire

Pay: $23–$26 an hour

Position: full time

Location: Kal Tire, Prince Rupert


Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Tire, Brake and Alignment Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure customer satisfaction. As a Tire, Brake and Alignment Technician, you will utilize your mechanical knowledge and expertise to provide top-notch automotive service in a dealership setting.


Responsibilities:

- Perform automotive diagnostics to identify issues and recommend appropriate solutions

- Use hand tools and power tools to align, repair, and replace parts as needed

- Conduct routine maintenance tasks to keep vehicles in optimal condition

- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns professionally

- Collaborate with team members to efficiently complete tasks and meet service deadlines

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment for safety and efficiency

- Keep accurate records of services performed and parts used


Skills:

- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for automotive repairs

- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive diagnostics

- Previous experience working in a dealership or automotive service center is a plus

- Ability to align, maintain, and repair various vehicle components

- Excellent customer service skills to interact with clients effectively


Requirements:

- Proven experience as an Tire, Brake and Alignment Technician or similar role

- Certification in automotive diagnostics or related field is preferred

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction

Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Prince Rupert, BC V8J 4J4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)


Education:

  • AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)


Experience:

  • Mechanical: 5 years (preferred)


Language:

  • English (preferred)


Licence/Certification:

  • Class 5 Licence (preferred)
  • Red Seal (preferred)


Work Location: In person
