RELATIONAL SECURITY SERVICES OFFICER

Position Summary

In accordance with established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Supervisor, Relational Security Services, the Relational Security Services Officer maintains and enforces security of persons and property in accordance with established policies and procedures.


Prince Rupert Regional Hospital is a 24-bed facility that sees an average of 22,000 ER visits per year. It is a fully equipped facility with Medical Imaging, Laboratory, ICU, ER and Maternity. Services include:

• Acute Care

• Internal medicine

• Internal Medicine

• Ultrasound

• CT scans

• Surgery

• Emergency department

• Extended care

• Pediatrics

• Radiology

• Obstetrics

• Gynecology

Additional services such as Diabetes Education, Healthy Heart and Rehabilitation, Podiatry, Orthopedics, and other visiting specialists.

Qualifications

• Grade 12, successful completion of recognized Basic and Advances Security Training certification.

• One-year recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience

• Holds Valid BC Security Guard License with applicable handcuff endorsement.
