Job Description

REGULAR RECORDS CLERK

Daax̱iigan Sḵ'adáa Née K-12 School

 

 

START DATE:                           August 31, 2026

 

SALARY:                                  $29.59 per hour

 

HOURS OF WORK:                   Twenty (20) hours per week

 

The Records Clerk types a variety of materials and performs a variety of clerical duties.

 

This position works under the immediate direction of the Secondary School Administrative Assistant and under the supervision of the Principal.

 

Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 graduation/supplemented by typing 50 c.w.p.m. and general office procedures.
  • Six months to one year related experience.
  • Working knowledge in computer operations and current Student Information System, such as MyEdBC.
  • Ability to operate various office equipment including photocopy, facsimile, public address, postage machine, laminator, and shredder.
  • Ability to work with constant interruptions while meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to use judgement in carrying out established procedures.
  • Ability to use tact and diplomacy in contacts with parents, public, staff and students.
  • Good knowledge of Business English, spelling and punctuation.
  • Recognize and respect the confidential nature of all information related to students, parents and staff.
