About the Development Corporation:
The Gitga’at Development Corporation (GDC) is the economic development arm of the Gitga’at First Nation. GDC is responsible for building economic opportunity from the ground up including initiatives in the local community and beyond in Northern BC.
Position Summary:
The Operations Manager is responsible for leading, optimizing, and coordinating the daily operations of the corporation, with a dual focus on internal corporate functions and the oversight of business entities. This role ensures operational efficiency, drives process improvements, supports strategic initiatives, and maintains alignment between corporate objectives and the needs of individual business entities. The Operations Manager works closely with Chief Executive Officer (CEO), contractors, and small‑business managers to ensure smooth, scalable, and compliant operations across the corporation.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degrees in business administration, operations management, or related field. (MBA is preferred)
Experience: 5-10 plus years of experience in operations management, preferable in a corporate environment.
Salary Range: $90,000 - $105,000. The starting salary for this position would be determined with consideration of the successful candidate’s relevant education and experience. Comprehensive benefits package. Travel may occur on a limited basis.
