Job Title: HVAC Mechanic Assistant

Location: Prince Rupert

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent. 40 hours/week

Wage: $29/hr

Start Date: As soon as possible

Duties:

• Assists certified HVAC mechanics with installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
• Prepares and organizes tools, materials, and equipment required for HVAC work.
• Performs basic support tasks under the supervision of a licensed HVAC mechanic.
• Follows safety procedures and ensures work sites are clean and organized.
• May perform minor tasks such as lifting, moving components, or preliminary assembly of HVAC systems, under direct supervision.
• Participates in on-the-job training to develop trade skills and progress toward certification.

Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of HVAC installation, repair and plumbing of HVAC systems.
• Experience in the field of 2-3 years.
