Casual maintenance/Laborer

K'il Kun Airport Sandspit

Wage is $25-30 / hr.

5 days a week / 7.5 hour days. Days of the week to be worked are flexible and can be negotiated with the Operations & Maintenance Supervisor.

Start time 0830 -1600 if traveling from Graham Island, to match ferry schedule. 0800 -1600 if they are living in Sandspit.

Job description:

Looking for casual employee to pressure wash, paint, weed eat and cut grass for the summer. Other jobs could include helping full time staff with larger projects like construction and maintenance.

Position Requirements:

class 5 driver’s license – can be a new driver but not a learner.

Steel toes shoes

Good attitude

Employees work as part of a small team under the supervision of a Operations & Maintenance Supervisor. Duties are primarily outdoors and expose the employee to harsh weather conditions (cold, wind, noise from machinery and aircraft).
