ELEMENTARY COLLABORATIVE SUPPORT TEACHER

Sḵ ́aadg̱aa Naay Elementary School

An employment opportunity exists for a Temporary Full-Time (1.0 FTE) Elementary Collaborative Support Teacher effective September 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027 at Sḵ ́aadg̱aa Naay Elementary School.

Requirements:

·      A university teaching major, or its equivalent, relevantly related to the teaching position;

·      Understanding and being committed to the Calls to Action of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, including the eradication of existing and persistent equity gaps for specific groups of children;

·      The focus of this role will be to collaborate with classroom teachers to co-plan, co-teach and co-assess for personalized student learning;

·      Be prepared to provide support in creating inclusive learning environments where students are connected, supported, engaged and challenged;

·      Have proven skills with creating strength-based, core competency centred student action plans and supporting student success through individual student goal setting;

·      Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, instruct and evaluate learning activities for students’ strengths and for their academic, social, emotional and behavioural needs;

·      Understanding of local resources and environment;

·      Teacher Regulation Branch certification.

Competitive Salary: $75,415 - $120,222 per annum

Remote and Rural Allowance: $3,500 per annum

Travel Allowance: $1,206 per annum

Up to $2,000 relocation allowance upon submission of receipts
