Breakfast Attendant

Position: Room Attendant / House Keeping

Location: Prince Rupert

Job Type: Temporary, 16-24 hrs/week

Wage: 18.25/hr + depends on experience

If so, this job is for you! We are seeking enthusiastic, dedicated and friendly Breakfast Attendant to join our team. In the role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving breakfast items to guests in a welcoming environment. Your attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction will ensure that every visitor starts their day on a positive note. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Delighting guests: Greet every guest with a smile
• Prepare and set up breakfast area, ensuring cleanliness and organization
• Present breakfast items according to established standards
• Maintain food levels and beverages ensuring a pleasant dining experience for our guests
• Handle food safely and adhere to all health regulations
• Communicate effectively with guests to address their needs and preferences
• Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies as necessary
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations during breakfast service.
• After rooms closes – clean area, including kitchen, dishes, floors, and tables

Experience

• Previous experience in food handling or food service preferred
• Familiarity with meal preparation techniques is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest satisfaction
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and colleagues
• A commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace
