Due to its remote location Gwaii Haanas is categorized as an Isolated Post providing certain additional benefits:
· Isolated Post Allowances range from approximately $10,314 to $17,189 per year based on if the employee has dependants or not.
· Vacation Travel Assistance is provided once a year of approximately $2,013.16 for each eligible member of the household.
· Travel associated with non-elective medical and dental treatment, bereavement, or compassionate leave may be eligible for reimbursement.
