Position: Dockhand

As a Dockhand, you will play a key role in the efficient operation of our dock and transportation services. Responsibilities include:

• Fish processing (cutting and cleaning fish).
• Boat maintenance and tackle management.
• Receiving and inventory management.
• Guest satisfaction and assistance with luggage.
• Waste removal, freight unloading, and other tasks as directed by the Dock Manager.

Qualifications:

• Preference for candidates with previous remote resort experience and/or relevant certifications.
• Class 5 Driver’s License required.
• Pleasure Craft Operator Certificate (POC) required. 

Additional Details:

• This is a seasonal position based on Langara Island, Haida Gwaii.
• Contracts run from May to mid-September, totaling approximately 3.5 months.
• Room and board are provided, as well as flights to and from Vancouver.
