Bartender - Haida House, Part Time.

Located in Haida Gwaii, Haida House offers an immersive experience connecting guests to stunning landscapes, rich heritage, and the exceptional hospitality of the Haida Nation. We prioritize sustainability, authenticity, and unparalleled guest experiences rooted in Haida traditions. We seek a passionate Bartender to join our culinary team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated culinary professional in a remote, team-oriented setting.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Daily operation of lounge drink service at both lunch and dinner

· Bar maintenance: restocking and cleaning of bar and surrounding lounge area

· Maintaining inventory lists of bar stock and supplies, informing management when low stock arises.

· Assistance serving in the lounge and in the dining room as necessary

· Assistance with back-of-house maintenance as necessary

· Maintenance of lounge area as necessary

· Ongoing commitment to customer relationships with a strong focus on onsite sales

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

· Knowledge of liquor, wine, beer, service standards and etiquette

· Flexible work schedule (Opening/closing shifts, Weekday/Weekend shifts)

· Positive and Professional Attitude

· A dedication to quality and professionalism

TRAINING, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

· Current Serving it Right certified and understanding of responsible alcohol service

· Minimum of 1 year of bartending experience

· Must be 19+ years of age 

Wage: $24/hr
