Solutions Table Coordinator

$26.82 – 27.92 per hour based on experience, Full-time 35-40 hrs. per week

DESCRIPTION 

The Solutions Table Sorter plays a crucial role in the preparations for Solutions Table meetings.  They are responsible for ensuring all necessary data is collected, analyzed, and organized for all applications before the Table.  They integrate Haida input into Solutions table Briefing Notes as directed and work directly with SHN Solutions table members to support the implementation of relevant policies and decisions. This role is an integral part of our collaborative team.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collect, analyze and organize supporting materials and data for applications submitted to the Solutions Table (ST).
  • Sort and review applications, collect accurate information and analysis to provide informed input to SHN ST members
  • Attend weekly Solutions Table meetings and update the Record of meetings and Solutions Table Briefing Notes for review by SHN Table members.
  • Support SHN ST members by providing perspective on adherence to LUOO/EBM and other relevant agreements and CHN policy.
  • Write reports as assigned on the work of the Table and issues that arise from there.
  • Perform data management functions as assigned to support all land-based projects and analysis.
  • Assess Table processes and services and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Work as part of a collaborative team, assisting with training, mentorship and other programs to build capacity. 
  • Other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Grade 12 graduation or a combination of three years of office experience and experience managing data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, data, organizational and research skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including experience working collaboratively with individuals and groups in a multidisciplinary setting
  • Excellent computer skills, with an emphasis on data tracking and management programs
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Haida Land-based agreements is an asset
  • Experience working with First Nations and knowledge of First Nations communities and culture will be an asset
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s license
