Outreach Worker Job Description
The goal of the Better At Home (BAH) program is to provide non-medical services to support seniors living in their own homes, to increase socialization and decrease senior isolation.
An Outreach Worker, is KEY to the program’s success. You are the contact for the day-to-day activities and services offered by the BAH project.
Key duties and responsibilities:
Work assignments are given out by the Coordinator. For example, we start with two hours of light housekeeping a week and after organizing a client’s space, it could become one hour a week. That way we are able to help more clients, as we are continually adding to our list of those needing services.
Wage is $25/hour. Number of hours per week depend upon your availability and how many clients you can handle. Pay is every two weeks.
