Mental Health Clinician

Hours: Full time (35 hours/week)

Qualifications: Masters Degree in Counselling, Psychology or equivalent. Certification as a Registered ClinicalCounsellor (RCC) or a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC). Two (2) years recent experienceproviding therapy and counselling support to children/youth, adults or equivalent experience to this role.

Location: Gaw Tlagée Old Massett or HlGaagilda Skidegate

Wage: $46.20/hour

Reporting to the Director of Community Connections, the Mental Health Clinician will provide evidence-based therapy considering Haida traditions and values. Priority service will be for Haida families and individuals.This role involves delivering therapeutic interventions and crisis management,but also providing additional services inthe areas of prevention, risk-reduction, and community education whileconsulting and working in collaboration with other service agencies.

This position requires union membership.
