IT CLERK
Additional 3% on hourly wage
Reports To: Manager, IT Information Systems & Security

Primary Purpose
The IT Clerk performs general duties within the IT department and conducts minor maintenance in the Corporate Office and reporting to the Governance Officer.
Key Accountabilities
Member Service:
- Presents a professional image to members and internal customers (other staff).
- Other duties may be assigned periodically.
Employee Engagement:
- Engages in positive internal customer interactions which support a positive, respectful workplace that promotes team success.
- Fosters a culture consistent with the credit union’s values and service philosophy.
Operational Effectiveness:
- Identifies process improvements and escalates to supervisor.
- Assist in installing variety of computerized equipment.
- Asist with office furnishings as required to facilitate equipment installation.
- Ensures that all interactions with members
and fellow staff are completed in a professional and timely manner
Risk Management and Financial Health:
- Meets compliance, confidentiality and regulatory requirements and abides by management policy and branch procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
- Grade ten student.
- Good academic standing.
Experience:
- Mature attitude and good interpersonal skills required.
- Able to follow instructions and work independently.
- Be able to perform basic computer upkeep or willing to learn.
- Must be in good physical condition and able to lift at least 50 pounds.
Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize, organize work within time constraints and under pressure.
- Ability to communicate and liaise professionally with members, potential customers, community groups and co-workers while maintaining confidentiality.
