Job Description

Hours: Full time (35 hours/week)
Qualifications: Bachelor of Arts Degree
in field related to Human Services,
Education or Social Work. Other relevant
combinations of skills, education and
experience may be considered.
A minimum of 5 years’ employment
experience in a related role at the
management level.
Prior supervisory and management
experience is essential along with
exceptional leadership abilities.
Location: Gaw Tlagée Old Massett
Wage: $62.67/hour

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director of Community Connections will provide supervision to the Family Preservation and Mental Health teams. The Director of Community Connections also provides funding support, coordination, administration and advisory services to community organizations wanting to provide programming. This position is responsible for the general operation and accountability of programs and planning at the community level. It ensures the programs strengthen and preserve families. The Director is responsible for the financial management of the programs, as well as regular reporting responsibilities to the Executive Director and to Indigenous Services Canada.
