Located in beautiful Cow Bay, Saltwater Bakery & Provisions is a place to come together. The bakery offers an array of artisanal breads, sweet and savoury pastries, and signature desserts as well as homemade ice cream and a selection of local artisan products from across Northern BC.

**Job Summary:**

We are looking to hire an energetic, enthusiastic and experienced Bakery Store Manager to supervise our baking staff and manage all bakery operations. The Bakery Store Manager's responsibilities include maintaining accurate financial records, conducting interviews, hiring and retaining suitable bakery staff.

To be successful as a Bakery Store Manager, you should demonstrate excellent management and problem-solving skills. Ultimately, an outstanding Bakery Store Manager should be able to achieve exceptional customer experience as well as long term staff commitment and a profitable, smoothly run operation.

**Duties:**

- Develop and implement bakery strategies to achieve sales and profitability goals

- Manage bakery staff, including recruiting, training, and scheduling

- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed

- Oversee the production of various baked goods, ensuring quality and consistency

- Monitor and control bakery expenses through budgeting and cost management

- Provide exceptional customer service and address customer inquiries or concerns

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the bakery

- Handle administrative tasks such as payroll, scheduling, and record-keeping

**Experience:**

- Proven experience in bakery management or a similar role in food/catering production

- Strong leadership skills to motivate and guide bakery staff

- Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently

- Effective communication skills to interact with customers, staff, and vendors

- Proficiency in administrative tasks such as cashiering, recruiting, and payroll

- Prior experience in retail management is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
