About the Role:

The Recruitment Coordinator will work within LNG Canada’s Human Resources (HR) department supporting efforts in attracting both current and future workforce, specifically focusing on local and diverse employment.

Reporting into the LNGC Recruitment Lead, this position aims to help deliver the people resources needed to ensure LNG Canada is successful.

You will use your expertise to:
• Work within the Recruitment team to recruit a broad range of technical and non-technical people across LNG Canada
• Support the recruitment process by coordinating development of job descriptions, posting/advertising job vacancies, screening applications, managing candidate assessments.
• Scheduling candidates and manage interview logistics.
• Initiating and managing the candidate background check in our e-system
• Interface directly with external applicants on both current and future job opportunities
• Support the developing of relationships and work closely with employment/career stakeholders across British Columbia with focus in the NW to identify partnership opportunities and future talent.
• Identification of candidates through a variety of sourcing methods (Applicant Tracking System, referrals, LinkedIn, internet job boards and networking) and managing candidate lists for pre-identified critical groups of jobs

• Support the coordination of workforce development initiatives aimed at developing both local and diverse candidates (e.g. LNGC’s Your Place Program)
• Help develop and deliver recruitment reporting covering items such as breakdown of applicants, offer declines, diversity, etc.
• Ensure timely and accurate tracking and recording of information in the recruiting database for positions and candidates
• Understand and adhere to established levels of data protection, equal opportunities, direct competitor, anti-trust, ant-bribery guidelines at all times
• Participate in diversity and career fairs, conferences, and other attraction/sourcing events as needed
• Additional support for broader HR initiatives as required
To be successful, this role requires that you have:
• Min of 3 years of recruitment administration experience with direct experience as a recruiter is considered an asset
• Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in a Business or HR program considered an asset
• Proven verbal and written communication skills
• Credible and confident working with people at all levels both internally and externally
• Strong appreciation of the value of diverse backgrounds
• Good working knowledge of MS Office with previous experience with an Applicant Tracking/Recruitment system desired
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and accommodate changing demands
• Ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision
• Willing to learn and grow within Recruitment/HR into progressive responsibilities
This role requires that you:
• Must be Legally entitled to work in Canada (i.e. by way of Canadian citizenship, permanent residency or valid work permit)
• Role is in Kitimat, BC for a fixed term of 3 years.
• Work a 40 hrs. schedule , Monday to Friday , mix of working from home and in-office
