Administrative Services Clerk – Temporary Full-Time

Position Description

Northern Savings Credit Union has an opening for a temporary full-time Administrative Services Clerk located in Prince Rupert. The successful applicant must be able to provide excellent member service and perform clerical duties.

The primary purpose of this role is to provide operational and administrative support to the branches, allowing our staff to provide exemplary member service.

General Duties:

  • Maintains records and processes a variety of branch/centralized administration tasks.
  • Performs a variety of accounting tasks including reconciliation of various general ledgers.
  • Provides exceptional service to members, credit union staff and service providers by being knowledgeable, able to discern needs, providing appropriate solutions to meet or exceed those needs while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications Required


  • Secondary school diploma required.


  • Previous experience in administrative work is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Previous financial services experience preferred.


  • Working knowledge, skills and experience in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and accuracy skills required.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work within time constraints.
  • Strong written and verbal business English communication skills required.
