Program Support Workers at KAL NAAY / ALDER HOUSE (Full Time & Casual)

The QC Heritage Housing Society is hiring Program Support Workers. The Program Support Worker functions as part of a team to provide a range of supports serving homeless/at risk individuals, many of whom are living with mental illness and/or substance use.  By developing and implementing Individual Support Plans the PSW facilitates life skills development, provides emotional and practical support and referrals to appropriate health and community services, to assist the Program Participant in attaining a successful occupancy outcome.

  • Secondary School Graduation Diploma or a combination of skills and experience
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to complete BC Housing and any required training
  • Some basic computer experience and knowledge of social networking
  • Valid BC Drivers License
  • Completion of a Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check
