Office and Program Manager (Full Time)

Description

Under the direction of the Health Director, the Office and Program Manager provides executive management/administrative leadership and support. The Office and Program Manager supervises Medical Travel, Front Reception, Youth Centre, Housekeeping, Dental and Landscaping Programs. The Office and Program Manager will ensure smooth operations of all office, building, and information systems and will also be responsible for security and phone systems as well as other infrastructure. The Office and Program Manager will also assist in the preparation of confidential documents, proposals, and reports.

Education, Training & Experience
 Post-secondary education (bachelor level or equivalent training and experience in health administration, health planning, community engagement, or related field). Master’s Degree preferred.
 Minimum five years in a senior administrative role
 Computer proficiency including the ability to use spreadsheets and word processing programs as well as databases
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
 Knowledge and understanding of Haida culture and values
 Knowledge and understanding of Haida health and social issues
 Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a variety of people and circumstances
 Valid Class 5 Driver’s license and own vehicle
 Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
