The Human Resources Assistant provides support to the Human Resources Department in the delivery of services, policies and programs of the Department.

In particular, the incumbent provides support in the area of Recruitment & Selection, Human Resources Records Management, Training & Development, Employee Communications, Compensation & Benefits Administration, Employee Performance Management, and Employee Reward & Recognition.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a desire to pursue a professional career in human resources management.

The ideal candidate will possess post-secondary education and 1 to 3 years’ of related experience, enjoys working with people, is customer-focused, tactful, patient, and exercises good judgment when dealing with sensitive issues and confidential information.

Experience with HRMS is an asset. In addition, the ideal candidate would also possess strong spoken and written communications skills and perform well individually in a team environment.
