Corporate Office Administrator (Full Time)

Primary Purpose:

The Corporate Office Administrator provides coordination and administrative support to the CEO, Governance Officer and various other Corporate Office divisions. The Corporate Office Administrator is responsible for providing efficient and accurate resolutions while providing exceptional member service.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Support and assist the Governance Officer in the gathering, assembling and distribution of material for Board and Board Committee meetings as required.
  • Prepare proper record keeping and taking and producing minutes.
  • Provides support on an ad hoc basis.
  • Is the first point of contact in the Corporate Office, providing exceptional member service.
  • Presents a professional image to members and internal customers (other staff).
  • Ensures that all interactions with members and fellow staff are completed in a professional and timely manner.
  • Meets compliance, confidentiality and regulatory requirements and abides by management policy and branch procedures.
  • Conducts duties within a strict code of confidentiality.
  • Other duties may be assigned periodically.


  • High School diploma is a requirement.
  • Completion of post-secondary education is an asset.


  • Previous experience in an administrative role is required.
  • Previous financial services experience is an asset.
  • Knowledge of credit union system is an asset.


  • Strong written and verbal business English communications skills required.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize work within time constraints.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills required.
  • Ability to communicate and liaise professionally with members, potential customers, community groups and co-workers while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Working knowledge, skills and experience in Microsoft Office.
  • Occasional travel is a requirement of this position.
