Commissionaires is a Canadian, not-for-profit security/enforcement organization that has been in business since 1927. Our mandate is to give back to those who served and continue to serve in our communities and country.

Commissionaires provides security services for over 200 sites and are located in over 110 communities across the province. Our client base runs from the Federal Government to local municipalities, airports, industrial sectors, and commercial/residential buildings. Our guards are not only behind the scenes providing security and access control, but front and centre providing valued customer service to the public.

We will be running a Hiring Fair to find energetic, highly motivated individuals to fill several positions. Details for the Hiring Fair are as follows:

 

Where: Hecate Strait Employment Development Society

208 First Avenue East, Prince Rupert

When: Wednesday June 12 from 3-5pm

What to bring:

  • Your current resume
  • 2 pieces of government issued identification

 

What does it take to with for us?

Your must–haves:

  • A valid BC Security Licence – or a willingness to complete Basic Security Training
  • A 5-year living history in Canada (required for government of Canada clearances)
  • A flexible schedule
  • Exceptional customer service
  • High School Diploma
  • 19 years of age or older and meet all other minimum requirements for a security licence in the Province of BC
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • A clean criminal record and an ability to obtain a Public Works Reliability Clearance
