Administration Officer – Full time (Hour Rate $17.50 to $21.50, based on experience)

Pollyco Group of Companies is a Real Estate/Land Development business operating in Langley, B.C. Our projects include residential and commercial projects primarily located in British Columbia and Alberta. We are looking for an experienced Administration Officer to carry out accounting, record keeping and supervision of operation team at the Rupert Square Shopping Centre, Prince Rupert, British Columbia.
Responsibilities:
· Report to Mall Manager and Group President;
· Provide customer services to current and potential tenants;
· Update Accounts Payable, Cheque run, bi-weekly payroll and maintain accurate journal entries and general ledgers on a regular basis;
· Preform accounts reconciliation, and assist for annual books closing and budgeting;
· Supervise floor operation team of 8, and maintain records of hiring, termination, promotion and leave;
· Assist in bridging tenancy relationship and overdue rent collection;
· Assist in marketing and seasonal activities promotions.
· Coordinate correspondence and record-keeping.
Requirements/Skills:
· Must be proficient in English, ability to communicate in other languages an asset;
· Excellent working knowledge with Sage Accounting is a must;
· Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office;
· Good attention to detail and a high level of accuracy;
· Organize documentation and record-filing;
· Ability to manage, prioritize and multi-task to meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
· Two years relevant experience in administration, or in retails business.
· Recent experience preferably in accounting for real estate or property management.
