ACCOUNTING CLERK / OFFICE COORDINATOR

 

 

Position:          Accounting Clerk / Office Coordinator

Terms:             Permanent Full Time – 37.5 hrs/week

Start:               March 1st/2021

Location:         Haida Gwaii, BC

 

Haida Gwaii Community Futures is looking for a highly motivated person to fill the roles of Accounting Clerk/Office Coordinator.

 

Working with and reporting to the General Manager the position will be responsible for:

  • All accounting including bookkeeping, banking, financial reporting
  • Accounts Receivable/Payable
  • Payroll
  • Loan Reconciliation
  • All General office administration and staff support.
  • Board of Directors administration

 

The applicant will have demonstrated:

 

  • Fully experienced with Simply Accounting Business Financial System (SAGE)
  • Significant working experience in accounting, bookkeeping and financial reporting
  • Experienced with Microsoft office applications (Mac and PC) and comfortable learning new applications
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations, capable of working with a number of demands, and possess a high degree of self-motivation and initiative.

 

Post secondary education certificate or diploma in accounting is desirable.

 

Location is Masset, however may be flexible for ideal candidate. Salary is commensurate with experience and education.  We thank all applicants and will only notify those individuals who are to be interviewed.
