CHAINSAW SAFETY & MAINTENANCE
This course is in conjunction with the Geophysical Contractors of Canada (CAGC) and provides awareness to the proper handling and operating of a chainsaw.

- Chainsaw Maintenance and Handling
- Safe falling
- Limbing
- Bucking Practices
This course requires a minimum of 16 hours theory and hands-on training, followed by a written exam.
Students are strongly advised to bring the following protective gear to class:
- Steel-toed boots
- Hard hat
- High visibility clothing (such as vest, etc.)
- Safety pants (chainsaw pants)
