For ESL Learners! The West Coast Reader (Free for Visitors)

Our Resource Library for newcomers now has copies of the West Coast Reader available free  for  newcomers interested in practicing reading English. It is a newspaper dedicated to helping Adult Learners of English.

You can also view the West Coast Reader online and listen to the audio versions of the news articles, or print off articles for self-study or work with a peer or staff member. Each month there are new articles and resources to read. This is a great way to promote reading for the start of school.

Come on in and pick up a free copy, and arrange a time to sit with a reading tutor, or drop by for a visit to browse our growing collection of materials.

Our services for newcomers and immigrants are available free of charge in Prince Rupert thanks to funding from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada and BC Settlement and Integration Services.
