About the Process of Learning English

I came in one morning in mid-August to the Resource Room, and found a surprise! This flower is now in full bloom; it had just come out for the day.

This beautiful blossoming flower is like a person learning English – you work hard for many days and weeks and months and suddenly the results of your hard work are there in front of you for everyone to see and celebrate.

It has been an honour and a privilege to work with all of you coming to the study group. I want to thank all the participants who have been working so hard on learning English. I appreciate all your hard work. You are a pleasure to work with. For other newcomers who would like to join the group, please give us a call or drop by and talk with Nancy or Glenn to find out more.

Our services for newcomers and immigrants are available free of charge in Prince Rupert thanks to funding from Immigration, Refugees and Citzenship Canada and BC Settlement and Integration Services.
